Unlike many web designers I actually encourage the owner and staff to get involved in making changes, registering with search engines and directories, and trying out different on-line marketing ideas. My reasons are partly selfish; I want to see your web site succeed which, as the designer will reflect well on me. My main reason, however, is that I enjoy teaching others about the internet and watching them becoming competent with it.

Employers are amazed how interested in their web site their staff becomes when they share in its updating and maintenance. This has the advantage in that the staff will discuss the site with your customers, and their family, and friends at the same time advertising your business.

Basic lessons can include emailing, searching techniques, web design, and search engine optimization.
