Tiger Snake

Tiger snakes are poisonous. They live in South Australia. They grow up to 2 metres long and eat frogs, lizards, birds, and mice. A mother snake has up to 80 babies a year.

Blue Tongue Lizard

A Blue Tongue Lizard grows up to 40 cm long. When they are frightened they hiss. They live for up to 25 years. They live mainly in New South Wales. They eat plants and other animals.
A mother lizard has up to 18 babies every year.

Frill-Neck Lizzard

The Frilled Neck Lizzard is 90 cm long. Its frill is folds of skin but when it is frightened it puts its frill up to try and look bigger. It runs on its two back legs and hisses when attacked.The Frilled Neck Lizzard eats insects and spiders.
Their babies are born from eggs that the mother lays in a hole in the ground.

Goanna

There are many different types of Goanna. They can be quite small or over 2 metres long. They eat rats, mice, eggs, small reptiles, birds and insects.When they are frightened they climb trees.The Goanna has a tongue like a snake. They live in tunnels that they dig in the ground.
